Selling a spectacular, comprehensive 20-piece collection lot of original British India coins spanning the late 19th century through to the historic 1947 Independence era. This is a very special collection that I got directly from my mom's old dabba, where it sat safely preserved for decades. This reset lot features a phenomenal mix of high-grade 91.7% sterling silver coins, wartime 50% silver fractions, iconic 1947 pure nickel "Walking Tiger" issues, and uniquely shaped base metal pieces (scalloped and square). None of these coins have been chemically cleaned or polished, preserving their natural historic patina, family-found vintage charm, and full numismatic value for collectors. Lot Summary (20 Coins Total): • 91.7% Silver One Rupees: 1880 (x2), 1884, 1885, 1891, 1901, 1905 (Edward VII), 1914 (George V), 1918 (George V). • 1947 Independence Pure Nickel Rarity: One Rupee "Walking Tiger" (x3), Half Rupee "Walking Tiger" (x1). • Fractional & Unique Metals: 1944 Scalloped 1 Anna, 1939 Square 2 Annas, along with a mix of various George VI wartime 1/2 and 1/4 Silver Rupees. Condition: Genuinely circulated vintage condition ranging from Good (G) to Extra Fine (XF). Shipping: Dispatched securely from Mumbai with tracking and full insurance. Open to reasonable offers from serious collectors.
