The Currency Bazaar
A brand of Numismatic Coin Collections Private Limited
What we do
The Currency Bazaar is an online marketplace for old and collectible Indian coins and currency notes. People across India list what they have inherited or saved, and collectors and dealers find them here. Buyers and sellers talk to each other only through the chat on this website — we never publish a seller's phone number, WhatsApp or email address.
Who runs it
The Currency Bazaar is owned and operated by Numismatic Coin Collections Private Limited, a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013. The same company also operates coinbazzar.com, which has served the Indian numismatic trade since 2017.
"Numismatics" is the study, collection and trade of coins and paper currency. Our registered name says it in the trade's own language; the brand name The Currency Bazaar says the same thing in everyday language — currency for the coins and notes we deal in, bazaar for the marketplace where they change hands.

A word on safety
Sellers of old coins are targeted by advance-fee fraud: someone promises lakhs for an ordinary coin, then asks for a "registration", "GST" or "courier" fee. No genuine buyer ever asks a seller to pay money. We scan every message on this platform for that pattern and warn you inside the chat. If a buyer asks you to pay anything, report the chat — do not send money.
