Trust & safety
Our official accounts
These are the only places The Currency Bazaar speaks from. Any other number, page or person using our name is not us — and none of ours will ever ask you for money.
Website and email
- thecurrencybazaar.com — this website. Check the spelling: two a’s in “bazaar”.
- coinbazzar.com — our sister site, run by the same company.
- support@thecurrencybazaar.com — our support address.
Social media
We have no YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp account yet. When we open one it will be listed on this page first. Until then, any account using our name is somebody else.
How do you spot a fake?
- It asks you to pay anything — a fee, a deposit, tax, “RBI clearance” — before you are paid.
- It messages you first, offering to buy your coin. We never contact sellers to buy; buyers use the chat on this site.
- It promises lakhs for an ordinary coin or note.
- It uses the RBI’s name or logo. The RBI does not buy or sell old coins and has authorised nobody to.
- The web address is almost ours — a missing letter, “.in”, “.online”, or extra words.
Found a fake?
- Send us the link or the number at support@thecurrencybazaar.com.
- If you have already paid, call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in at once.
- Forward the message to PIB Fact Check (factcheck.pib.gov.in).
